(B) CF incisor stained with pH indicator shows a neutral secretory-stage pH and acidic transitional stage, while the maturation-stage zone appeared to be yellow, indicating a sustained lower pH. (C) Higher magnification of the CF incisor maturation-stage enamel showed multiple fine pigmented and unpigmented horizontal strips decorating the surface.
