The panels A and B stand for second molars, C and D for first molars, E and F for lateral incisors, and G and H for central incisors. In the 1980 cohort, the risk of failure is constant, except in central incisors, and the age of the tooth thus does not affect the risk of failure. (Log-scale on the vertical axis ranges from 0.1 to 50.)
