(C) The cephalometric radiograph at 10 days after fixation of the appliance, i.e., the day of appliance removal. Note that the intermolar space was filled by eruption of the teeth. (D) The cephalometric radiograph at 5 days after appliance removal. Note that the OVD was reduced.
