Figure. Odor judge scores of subjects (mean ± standard deviation; N = 60), divided according to the color levels of β–galactosidase activity on the paper discs (0 – no color, 1 – faint blue color, 2 – moderate- to dark-blue color). Results were compared by ANOVA as described in MATERIALS & METHODS.
