ERRATUM

RE: Article on May, 1991, issue of the Journal of Dental Research (Vol. 70, No. 5, pp. 894-898).

On the first page, under "Materials and methods" (subheading, "Subjects"), it is indicated that the subjects received 6000 Gy (rads) or more to the head and neck. This should have read that they received 60 Gy. One Gy is equal to 100 rads.

The authors regret this error.
