Serological properties of Streptococcus mutans from humans and some animals
M. Sato
The development of a simple but reliable diagnostic method of identifying
and grouping S. mutans was undertaken. There were three specific antigens
of S. mutans, and the slide agglutination test was found to be a good
method using three specific antisera. The distribution of S. mutans groups
in the Japanese and some animals was studied.
