Determination of Strontium in Ground and Whole Teeth by X-ray Emission Spectrography

Concentrations of strontium in samples of human enamel were determined by X-ray emission spectrography and compared with analyses of the same samples by atomic absorption. The spectrographic method is a rapid, nondestructive means to determine relative concentrations of strontium in tooth tissue samples.
