Effects of Age and Years of Exposure on the Economic Benefits of Fluoridation

The study shows how econometric techniques can be applied in analyzing the benefits of preventive dental care. The relationship between age and children's dental costs before and after fluoridation is analyzed. Results show that while costs increase with age, their level and rate of increase are lower after fluoridation.
