Mixtures of Elastomer Impression Materials: I. Setting Time and Consistency

1 School of Dentistry, Aristotelian University, Thessalonica, Greece

The setting time and consistency of 40 mixtures of different elastomer impression materials were measured. Measurements were made at 20, 25, and 37 C. In all mixtures the setting time and consistency values were inversely proportional to temperature and were within the range of values of the constituent materials.
