Gingival and Digital Vasomotor Response to Thermal Imagery in Hypnosis

Eight volunteers participated in an experiment designed to measure gingival and digital vascular responses to suggestions of heat or cold during hypnotic trance. Although verbal and overt motor responses generally agreed with suggestions of heat or cold, vasomotor responses did not.
