An experiment was made to determine the setting time and consistency of 39 different mixtures of elastomer impression materials. The mixtures were produced by mixing four light body and regular body mercaptan materials in various ways and 13 light body, regular body, putty, and functional silicone materials in various ways. The values for the setting time and consistency for all mixtures were inversely proportional to temperature and were included within the range of corresponding values of the constituent materials.
