Stabilization of Parotid Flow Rate in the Dog

An intravenous infusion procedure using pilocarpine hydrochloride maintains a steady state of parotid saliva flow for at least 30 minutes in the anesthetized dog. The performance of the method is independent of age, sex, body weight, and breed of dogs.
