Elasticity of Elastomer Impression Materials: I. Measurement of Young's Modulus of Elasticity and of the Coefficient of Elasticity

1 Department of Removable Dentures, School of Dentistry, Aristotelian University, Thessalonica, Greece

Young's modulus and the coefficient of elasticity were measured for all elastomer impression materials available in Greece. Silicone and polyether derivatives showed their best elastic properties immediately after mixing.
