Comparative Absorbed Doses in Dental Radiography: III. Special Projections

X-radiation dosimetry of four intraoral occlusal and four extraoral skull projections at 12 anatomic sites was performed with calcium fluoride thermoluminescent dosimeters. The degree of exposure and absorbed doses indicated that patient radiation tolerance should be considered in the decision to use radiography.
