The mean Q02 of pooled incisor pulps from four species of rodents that ranged in mean weight from 18.6 to 714.0 gm was determined at 10, 20, 30, and 40 C. An approximately linear inverse relation between the Q02 at 40 C and body mass was found. The estimated Q02 values at 38°for rat and rabbit incisor pulp demonstrated the inverse relation more emphatically.
