Comparison of Histological Stained Sections with Culturing Techniques in the Evaluation of Contaminated Wounds

Three methods of evaluating contaminated wounds were studied and compared in 80 albino rats. No absolute degree of reliability can be obtained with any one of the three methods, but a combination of methods plus certain clinical data may yield possible qualitative and quantitative information.
