FRANK C. BESIC 1 and M. R. WIEMANN JR. 1

1 Walter G. Zoller Memorial Dental Clinic, The University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois 60637, USA

Dispersion staining and the Becke Line Method were used to obtain refractive index values from undecalcified sections of 20 human tooth specimens that exhibited early various lesions.
