Epidemiology of Gingivitis and Calculus in a Marmoset Colony

Gingivitis and calculus were documented in a marmoset colony. Gingivitis was prevalent in 96% of the marmosets examined, and calculus was present in 100%. Significant interspecies differences in the severity of gingivitis and the abundance of calculus were observed.
