Biochemical and Antigenic Studies of Lactobacilli Isolated from Deep Dentinal Caries: II. Antigenic Aspects

Antigenic studies of lactobacilli isolated from deep dentinal caries indicate that these organisms share a common group antigen identical to that of Sharpe's serologic group C organisms. The presence of a less stable, type-specific antigen makes subgrouping of the organisms possible.
