Comparison of Jet Injection and Needle-Syringe Injection Techniques in Production of Edema

A biopsy desiccation method was used to demonstrate the production of edema fluid after administration of a local anesthetic solution by jet and needle-syringe injection techniques. The jet injection technique produced less edema fluid than the needlesyringe injection technique.
