Relationship of Tooth Position to Maxillary Ridge Anatomy

KENNETH M. TUCKER 1 and ORRIN W. PEARSON 1

1 Veterans Administration Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104, USA

This study related the position of the anterior rugae to the maxillary canine teeth and the incisive papilla to the central incisors. Results indicated the rugae-canine correlation was not significant, but the incisive papilla-incisor relationship was highly significant and will aid the placement of denture teeth.
