Thermal Conductivity Measurement of Cavity Lining Materials

THANOS M. KALOYANNIDES 1

1 Thessaloniki University, School of Dentistry, Department of Stomatology, Thessaloniki, Greece

Measurement of the thermal conductivity of 11 different cavity lining materials showed that the materials possessed low thermal conductivity coefficients and that their respective values decreased from the first to the third measurement. Maximum and minimum values of thermal conductivity of the materials were compared with those of copper.
