Effect of Vancomycin on Plaque After Periodontal Surgery

The ability of vancomycin to reduce the formation of dental plaque after periodontal surgery was studied. There was a significant reduction in plaque for the period of time observed. An extrinsic stain was noted on the teeth of some patients.
