Doubling Time of Labeled Periodontal Cells of Rats

The tritiated thymidine labeled and nonlabeled connective-tissue cells in the periodontium of the mesial root of 37 60-dayold rat molars were counted. The doubling time of the labeled cells occurred at the 16 hour interval.
