Single incisors or incisor fragments devoid of visible soft tissues were subcutaneously allografted between inbred mouse strains. Resulting histoimmunity levels, as measured by accelerated rejection of secondary skin grafts and by agglutination of donor erythrocytes, were similar to those elicited by skin allografting. Comparison of temporal morphologic responses with incisor allografts and isografts revealed few and inconsistent differences.
