Comparison of Differing Modalities of Experimental Pain in Man

An evaluation of the experimental pain of heat, tibial pressure, and tooth electrical stimulation in dental outpatients was made. Dental pain was, in part, related to tibial pressure but was unrelated to thermal pain. Anti-analgesia was noted only with thermal stimulation.
