Heat pads at 43.3C were applied externally to the right side of faces of suckling dogs six to eight hours daily from the 11th through the 30th postnatal day. Eruption (appearance through oral epithelium) ages for teeth of 12 heated pups were compared with those for 21 littermate controls. Earlier eruption (p<0.05) was seen in heated pups for five of the 28 deciduous tooth classes.
