Effect of Soaking on the Physical Properties of Plaster

One kind of plaster and one kind of dental stone were subjected to a series of experiments in order to evaluate the effect of soaking before mixing on the physical properties of the set gypsum. Highest accuracy was seen with no soaking, and highest strength was achieved with one-minute soaking.
