Studies Comparing the Metabolism in Rats of Radiophosphorus Provided as NaH2PO4 and Other Inorganic Phosphates

Three studies were conducted in the rat to determine relative amounts of radiophosphorus present in various hard tissues and body fluids when provided as various inorganic phosphates. Considerable variation was observed in metabolic activity of the phosphates, with NaH2PO4 having the greater activity.
