Seven morphologic traits of the mandibular second premnolars were compared in 32 pairs of like-sexed twins to determine their value in diagnosing twin zygosity. Homolateral comparisons of the mandibular second premolars were accurate enough to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of monozygosity.
