By withdrawing a stainless steel pin embedded in a tapered pinhole in a bovine tooth, adhesion values for experimental materials may be measured with accuracy satisfactory for screening purposes. For some bisphenol A-glycidyl methacrylate adducts with fillers, forces of 750 to 1,450 psi were recorded.
