Effect of a Cavity Varnish on the Retention of Restorations

SHOZO KANAI 1 and TAKAO FUSAYAMA 1

1 Department of Operative Dentistry, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan

The varnish lining decreased the retaining force of inlays by half, and slightly increased the retaining force of amalgam restorations.
