1. Microbically depressed animals showed a marked reduction in caries incidence when compared to previous results.
2. The reduction in caries incidence was not uniform among experimental groups.
3. The reduction in caries incidence in norethandrolone-treated animals was proportionally greater than that observed in control animals when this study is compared to previously reported results where microbic depression was not used.
4. The cariostatic action of a high-phosphorus diet was diminished under the conditions of the experiment.
