A New Apparatus for Intraoral Manipulations in the Hamster

An appratus is described which permits simple, safe, and efficient mass handling of unanesthetized hamsters. Oral access to immobilized animals is accomplished without the necessity of the operator holding the animal. A minimum of experience is required for competent operation of the apparatus.
