A method was described for measuring instantaneous pulpal arterial blood pressure without disturbing the integrity of the pulp chamber. Preliminary results indicate that the mean pulpal blood pressure, when transmitted through the dentin, was 0.08 mm. Hg in dog teeth and 0.07 mm. Hg in human teeth. The typical waveforms of the pressure pulse were shown for dog and human teeth. References
