Oral doses of 1 mg. or of 5 mg. (0.06-0.15 mg/kg) of fluoride (as NaF) in solution given to anesthetized dogs did not depress the blood pressure. Doses of 10 mg/kg were also ineffective. A hypotensive response was observed in two of three dogs given 15 mg/kg and in three of three dogs given 23-36 mg/kg.
