A study of the distribution and retention of radioactive beryllium, vanadium, selenium, cerium, and yttrium, injected intraperitoneally, has been made in the soft and calcified tissues of rats. In each case it has been found that the element is taken up in the teeth and is retained in the molars in almost constant amount for prolonged periods.
