Systemic conditioning agents modified the severity of osteolathyritic changes induced in the periodontium of albino rats by administration of 10 mg of AAN/day. The lathyritic manifestations in the periodontium were accentuated by partial hepatectomies, thyroparathyroidectomy and thyroparathyroidectomy plus thyroxin (1 µg/day) and reduced by ACTH (10 I.U./day) and almost completely nullified by thyroxin (500 µg/day).
