Eleven caries-susceptible and 3 caries-immune females were examined for presence of oral and vaginal lactobacilli. The results showed no association of the two, and there was no evidence of any systemic factor reducing numbers of lactobacilli in the vaginal tract of the salivary lactobacillus-free immunes.
