Observations on the Amylase Content and Flow Rate of Human Saliva Following Gustatory Stimulation

A pronounced variation in the amylase content of saliva between individuals has been confirmed. However, the type of gustatory stimulus also proved to be a significant variable. The amylase content of saliva showed no correlation with the rate of flow.
