Two solutions of L67 and one of lignocaine were assessed for duration of anesthesia and other features. L67 3 per cent was found to be an effective anesthetic with a low adrenalin content of 1/300,000 and to provide a greatly shortened duration period. Still further reduction was possible by lowering the dosage, but accurate positioning of the needle was essential in these cases. The possibilities of using slightly higher (3.5 per cent) concentration of L67 and the advantages and disadvantages of low adrenalin content were also discussed.
