The Correlation of Lactobacillus Count and Gamma Globulin Level of Human Saliva

Lactobacillus counts and gamma globulin levels in saliva from thirty-eight subjects were determined. The gamma globulin levels did not show any correlation with Lactobacillus counts. However, gamma globulin levels in saliva of non-caries-immune young men were constant and low.
