Oculodentofacial anomalies observed in the young of rats with hypervitaminosis A were analyzed. It was found that exophthalmic eyes were essentially normal in structure but protruded as a result of congenital malformation of the orbital floor. Anomalies of the maxilla and the molar teeth were also seen. These anomalies were different from those produced by maternal riboflavin deficiency previously described.
