THE ANTHRONE METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF CARBOHYDRATES IN FOODS AND IN ORAL RINSING

An investigation was made of the suitability of the anthrone method for the estimation of carbohydrates in foods and oral rinsings. It was found that that method offers a quick and relatively accurate technic for determinations of this type.
