ANTIBODIES OF SYPHILIS IN SALIVA AND SERUM

The presence of reagin antibodies of syphilis has been demonstrated in some saliva specimens when the antibodies were also present in the serum or when the patient had a history of the disease. Some of the more common serodiagnostic tests can be used to reveal them.
