1 Bio-Chemistry Laboratory of the Forsyth Dental Infirmary for Children, Boston, Mass.
Material spooned out from below the floor of a carious lesion and filtered through a Seitz filter was placed upon the chorio-allantoic membrane of chick embryos. The passage of bacteria-free allantoic fluid through a series of chick embryos resulted in the development of inclusion bodies in the chorio-allantoic cells as studied on impression slides.
