AN ASPECT OF DIFFUSION:ITS POSSIBLE ASSOCIATION WITH DENTAL CARIES

1. Experimentally the ions or molecules of a solution diffuse with difficulty into the region around the contact points of spherical solid bodies immersed in liquid as predicted by the mathematical calculations of Rashevsky.

2. A similar delay in diffusion into contact regions has been suggested to occur in the human mouth.
