THE EFFECT OF WETTING AGENTS ON ORAL LACTOBACILLI

The effect of the addition of various surface-active agents on cultures of oral Lactobacilli has been investigated.

Stimulation and inhibition are demonstrated upon the addition of varied amounts of the agents in liquid and solid media.

An indication of the potentialities of these findings is noted.
