1. More evidence is offered to substantiate the fact that substances other than sodium fluoride may be used in reducing enamel solubility.
2. Stannous fluoride is an effective compound to use for reducing enamel solubility.
3. Filtering the reagent solution does not seem to impede the action of this and certain of the other solutions if they have a sufficiently low solubility.
4. Very indirect and imperfect evidence is given to show that reagents taken up by powdered enamel are tenaciously retained following washing with water.
