A TEST OF THE EFFECT OF FLUORIDE-CONTAINING DENTIFRICES ON DENTAL CARIES

1 Tufts College Dental School, Boston, Mass.

A 2-year study of the effect of the use of fluoride-containing dentifrices was carried out on groups of dental students and orphanage children. No evidence of a reduction of caries activity was found.
